This poster consists of Spider-man comic art made by Todd McFarlane, as well as the most famous Spider-man quote, “With great power comes great responsiblity.” Although Todd McFarlane is famous for being Spider-man’s artist throughout the 90s, Peter Parker originally debuted in Marvel Comics' “Amazing Fantasy, no. 15” released in 1962. Peter Parker is bitten by a radioactive spider and as a result of the bite, he gains superhuman strength, speed, and agility, along with the ability to cling to walls. Todd McFarlane’s work on Spider-man in the 90s made him a superstar in the comic industry. He is also credited with the creation of Venom, one of Spider-man’s greatest villains. Spider-man is my favorite comic character, and Todd McFarlane is my favorite comic artist.
